ZIIP Beauty debuts Silver Gel Melanie Simon, “the Nikola Tesla of skin care,” formulates a new gel to conduct electrical current while delivering globally-sourced actives deep into skin. San Francisco, July 2018 – ZIIP Beauty, the tech beauty brand synonymous for merging skin care and nanocurrent technology, is launching its second conductive fluid, ZIIP Silver Gel. It was designed to be used in conjunction with the ZIIP Device, which sends electrical currents to the skin to create change at a cellular level. “I developed Silver Gel for our community of devotees to give them another treatment option in the gel category,” says ZIIP creator and renowned electrical esthetician Melanie Simon. “Its primary job is to pull electricity from the ZIIP device into skin, and in doing so, it will pull the active ingredients there as well.” Silver Gel begins with the ZIIP Electric Complex , which is designed to effectively and safely transfer electrical currents from the ZIIP Device to the skin. It was chosen after 40 rounds of rigorous testing done to determine which base would drive the most electricity and active ingredients into the skin. The ZIIP Electric Complex is made with pharmaceutical-grade glycerin, a sugar complex that is one of the most conductive materials on earth, and dehydrated seawater, which is saturated with electrolytes magnesium, potassium, and sodium. Silver Gel's two superhero active ingredients- finely crushed pearl and a new low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid from Japan-are typically unable to be absorbed below the skin surface. The ZIIP Device, however, is able to drive them below the skin surface. The pearl accentuates collagen production, while the hyaluronic acid remains on skin, even after the gel is rinsed off, for 24 hours after use. Silver Gel promotes collagen production, provides immediate and sustained hydration, and gives an all-around glow to skin. The formula is vegan, silicone-free, paraben-free and fragrance-free. Both the Silver Gel and ZIIP's original conductive formula, Golden Gel, will conduct current identically, but while the new Silver Gel is focused on plumping and hydrating, the Golden Gel fills and firms the skin. Simon recommends interchanging them, and using the Silver Gel more liberally. As she says, “You keep your gold bars in the safe.
