This is a coffee that we just want to keep going back to, again and again. The beans were grown on the banks of the Ata River, beneath Colombia's towering Nevado del Huila volcano. Fully washed to give a fresher, cleaner flavour, it creates a brew that pulses with caramel, almond and ripe stone fruits, like plum, apricot and peach. A classic coffee that tastes like sunshine in a cup. Based in a riverside Victorian textile mill surrounded by the moors, drystone walls and woods of West Yorkshire Pennines, Dark Woods roast up treats for connoisseurs on a vintage Probat drum roaster. Working with the finest grades of coffee, i.e. nothing that cores below 80% in Speciality Coffee Association grading, they create clean coffees that sing of the farmers that grew them and the lands they come from. Which is probably why they’ve been awarded so many Great Taste Awards.
