Designed to specifically have fewer seams than most normal boots, they also come lined with Danner Dry technology for waterproof properties that don't hamper breathability. Continuing the ingenuity below, Danner join forces with Vibram to deliver one of their most responsive and practical rides yet. Starting with a Vibram SPE (Specialized Performance Elastomer) midsole, this unique compound, created with a co-polymer  blend of synthetic and natural rubber as well as EVA, gives greater resiliency and flexibility whilst keeping weight to a minimum. Combining this with the Vibram Fuga Megagrip outsole, Danner were able to strike the ideal balance between cushioning and traction support. Equipped with flex lines which work in tandem with the pliable nature of the SPE midsole to allow the foot to expand wider, angular lugs provide multidirectional grip when traversing rocky terrains. Sealed with Vibram's Megagrip rubber throughout, the result is a sole capable of handling wet and dry terrain with ease. Capped off with a removable Ortholite footbed, which not only provides even more softness but greater heat circulation, the Danner Mountain 600 boots are built using their streamlined DPDX last, meaning they fit slightly roomy, so it may be advised to go down a half-size. Finishing with visuals, mature embossed branding sits to the tongue and side whilst hardy metal hardware accentuates their hardy nature.
