A warm and breathable jacket designed for stop-start activities, the Deployment is made primarily of highly breathable and stretch-woven Schoeller fabric that's been treated with a NanoSphere DWR treatment to repel water, dirt, and stains. At the cuffs, under the arms, and at the back, Black Diamond used a blend of nylon and merino wool to increase breathability and improve temperature regulation, so you don't have to stop and re-layer every time your output levels change. It also lined the Deployment with moisture-wicking and breathable mesh, and filled it with light PrimaLoft Silver Hi-Loft insulation to provide an extra shot of insulation that won't cause you to overheat.
