Pale straw in colour, this exceptional cool climate Watervale Riesling is dry with refreshing acidity, aromas of citrus fruit and white blossom and an accompanying hint of minerality. Mort Mitchell, father to Kevin the winemaker and proprietor at Kilikanoon, first planted vines in the now infamous Mort’s Block vineyard in South Australia over 40 years ago. With their trusted secateurs, or ‘snips’, Kevin and his team still affectionately tend those vines to this day to make our Clare Valley Riesling.
