Pycogenols is a generic chemical term used to distinguish the polyphenolic class of bioflavonoids which contain flavonols from the simpler bioflavonoids. These Pycnogenols are also called Oligomeric Procyandinis. Both of these terms refer to the condensed structure of the flavonol molecule.
